Be sure to get things checked anyway.

I had extreme back pains for ages, and the only thing that helped was smoking a lot of weed. Got rid of most of the pains, however many years later it was discovered that I had twisted discs in my spine, and the weed was masking the severity due to the pain relief!

So now I have a diagnosed bad back and I smoke a lot of weed on prescription. So… Nothing has really changed but… I mean…
I forgot where I was going with this. See a doctor! It won- I mean, it sometimes doesn’t waste time. Erm.

Many years ago, I went to my GP and she told me a story from when she was in med school, pre-internet. She had a really bad headache and went through with researching the cause. After hours of going through research papers and textbooks, she determined she had brain cancer. So even before WebMD have us all brain cancer, doctors were already self diagnosing it.

Hey no worries, that was back in 2020, I’m now almost a year out from stem cell transplant. Lucky for me I have a brother that was a perfect match.

        I appreciate the thought though

Edit: I understand that many people aren’t as lucky an I was, so I want to encourage everyone to register to be a stem cell or marrow donor if you can. Also donate blood (if you can), I needed a LOT of blood transfusions through the course of my treatment
