It will stay true as most computers are optimized to windoze-only. Just some of us are lucky because our computer wasn’t optimized to it.
Not so surprising with windoze’s ever increasing system requirements.

For a second, I thought you made linux look like windows.
Also note how they are so eager to drop X11 support. IMO wayland is not stable and full of flaws by now and X11 isn’t going anywhere soon. Dropping X11 support will be sure to hurt them.
