I’ve been watching through old Gundam shows recently. While some haven’t aged well IMO, others are still really good. Zeta and the 8th MS Team are two examples.
It doesn’t have to be AI. It’s probably more trend chasing. Anime A becomes super popular, so other series try to emulate it. As far as sound effects, the studios are likely pulling from the same sfx library.
I can’t wait to read the New Aeao Version of the Holy Bible.
It was definitely one of the funnier hacking incidents I’ve seen in a game.
This right here. I met a lot of cool people after joining a couple groups related to my hobby.
Zesty bread & butter. It’s basically bread & butter that’s a little spicy. If I can’t find any, I sometimes make my own with a standard jar of bread & butter and add a couple spoonfuls of red pepper flake to the jar and let it sit for a couple days.
The short answer is I don’t.
I get my work done, my boss is happy with my performance, and I get some extra training done on the side. With the rest of the time, I get simple chores done around the house, or simply screw around. It’s never directly stated, but my boss is well aware that since our team is full time WFH, there will be non-work activities on work time. Even when I was at the office, I wouldn’t be focused on work the entire time.
I stick with wired headset/earbuds so I don’t have to deal with crap like this.
One streamer dropped over $100k on Diablo Immortal when it released. His gear was leveled so high, he couldn’t match against anyone else in pvp.

Yes, most likely. OP didn’t give details, but maybe that’s the only position in their area they are qualified for that offers a salary that meets their living expenses. There’s also the possibility that the company is overall good to work for and it was just shitty manager/team they were stuck with before. I agree that taking a pay cut can oftentimes be better overall if the new job is easier to handle, but we all have bills to pay, and sometimes the lower salary just won’t cut it.
Contacting your previous manager would likely be problematic, especially if you didn’t leave on good terms. I would contact the new hiring manager and explain the situation, and that you would prefer minimal contact with your previous manager, if possible. Were any of the previous issues documented? That could be helpful now. Also if you could, contact any previous colleagues you had a good rapport with and ask them to give a recommendation for you.
Why wait until after? With infinite money, you could buy controlling interest in every game publisher, fire and replace the execs, and have the studios focus their efforts on making quality games, rather than monetization.
Of course, you could also start your own studio(s) and make whatever the hell you wanted.
One of the stock ones. I had my phones on vibrate only for years, but when I started WFH full time with the pandemic, I turned the ringer back on so I could hear it if I was in another part of the house. I don’t care enough to download something else for the ringtone.
I did download a new tone for my alarm, though:
I like doctoring up freezer pizza. My go-to ingredients are red pepper flake, garlic powder, shredded cheese (whatever I have on hand), and grated parmesan (added prior to baking). Sometimes if I’m feeling like putting in some extra effort, I’ll dice up bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms, then toss them into the freezer, so I can put a couple handfuls on top before putting the pizza in the oven.
My dog is missing an ear, so that would make her stand out pretty easily. If the rest of the dogs were also missing an ear, I’d look for the one that was trying to play with the rest of them. Calling her name wouldn’t do any good anyways, since she would be way too distracted by the 99 other dogs.
From a usability standpoint, Lemmy just works better, for me at least. I used old reddit with RES and Firefox, but ran into random issues stemming from one of the two.
It doesn’t matter how it looks, since it’s going to be covered up. What does matter is how it feels. Run your hand over it. As long as it feels smooth, you’re good.
I saw The Matrix a few times in theaters and watched it regularly when the dvd came out.
Work on your skills, so you can land a better position/job where you aren’t micromanaged to that degree.
