Imo nsfw is a bad tag and should be separated to at least viewer discretion (nsfl) and porn. I’d probably add a tag on offensive humor too, since I don’t think my workplace would appreciate things like guillotines or 2meirl4meirl, but that is less useful than the other two
Depends on how they want to implement it. I’d be fine with just separating nsfl (content warning/gore) and nsfw (18+ topics) because those are inherently not comparable even though both are not appropriate for work
They can cater to better labelling, but clarifying the two would be a solid step

I want to see dirty jokes, triggering content, and gore.
I don’t wanna see tiddies or anime children in skimpy outfits.
How can this be a hard problem for the developers to solve??

Just a “sensitive:
reason
” and a “nsfw” are enough for me.Depends on how they want to implement it. I’d be fine with just separating nsfl (content warning/gore) and nsfw (18+ topics) because those are inherently not comparable even though both are not appropriate for work

Is it me, or is there basically zero gore content on Lemmy?
I think that’s because instance admins are very hands on and take action to remove questionable content.

this is not Instagram
Which is why it’s possible to block all 🌽 instances.
