            The meme is not sufficient in itself to make sense. It only works in the context of weibos fawning over japanese maid cosplay mixed with PC building… From the early 2000s from the look of the computer

            Having worked with maids in real life, no fucking way I’m letting anyone with a electrostatic feather duster near a ungrounded circuit board, especially if their wearing polyester uniforms with insulated platform shoes…

              Wait is that seriously it?

              When I first saw it I thought it was that some brand makes their fans in Japan, or “maid in Japan”. And I thought that was a kinda lame joke. But it works a lot better than a reference as obscure as this…

    I was confused for a moment, because intuitively a CPU fan would look in the same direction as it blows air, so it should look into the heatsink. The fan looking away from the heatsink seems weird to me.

    Or the owner installed the fan in the wrong direction.
