Cries in kiwi due to decades of successive useless governments and entrenched car culture
In Nauen (Brandenburg) we had four or five trains an hour to Berlin, and there were busses to every village imaginable, which was pretty cool.
Here in Südbaden public transport is tragic. The nearest bus is a 20 minute walk away, it only goes once an hour and just to the station, and it stops running at 7. And one train an hour one way and one the other way, always packed to the gills. Not that I take it much, because I can’t walk to the bus and there isn’t enough parking at the station.
You can WALK to the next bus?!? All my money for the public transport go to Munich so munich can afford more sausage for Söder ;-;
Technically, you can walk anywhere.
I can’t, I’m disabled! It’s at the bottom of a steep hill and the only bus stop on this side of town (I live in a city!)
Me on the country side we only have a school bus ;-;
I wish my own city’s airport were that well connected to the city.
