I feel validated. I’m brand new to working with this kind of data and genetic research in general. I was super confused for the last week about why some data didn’t seem to fit into the correct group, and was even told that the thing was correct but I wasn’t doing things quite right. I sent my manager the list of “incorrect” data and now he thinks that my results are more correct than the curator’s method. He’s working with his collaborators and the data scientist to correct it!
