    Problem is, the media is owned by friends or supporters of orange shithead so they’re biased towards him.

      That matters less and less as time goes on. People aren’t really getting much news from traditional media anymore. They’ve made themselves irrelevant.

        Who owns the ISPs? The internet is becoming more corporate every day, while surveillance capacities have exploded.

        Also, much non-traditional media is often just straight-up useless. Perhaps a little better than corporate media, but with a strong bias to a particular cause.

          Moving more and more towards streamers, podcasters, and independent journalists. For actual investigative reporting, the future is outfits like 404 Media. For editorial and dissemination, the future are podcasters, streamers, etc.

      The problem is people follow media like sheep, like people just love sharing nyt articles like it proves something and then i comment nyt is corporate dogshit “well it’s tje paper of record blah blah blah” yeah the record that billionaires want you to believe so you keep working for less money every year

      Yeah capitalist media would never give airtime to a true progressive. Their entire purpose is to control the narrative to the benefit of the rich.
