But real talk, I’ve spent a lot of time in swingers clubs and this is “real” see enough “ugly” people naked and you realize they’re not ugly at all they’re totally normal and you actually have been absolutely mind fucked by the media conscerning beauty standards. Basically no one looks like people on the internet in real life, not even that hot young couple, or that beautiful woman with huge fake boobs, or that fit dude, they all looks like real, flawed, human beings naked. Honestly I think the fact nudity has been so deeply sexualized and made taboo is why so much of the beauty industry thrives the way it does, being prudish and chasing a literally impossible ideal gets people to spend an awful lot of money. In reality very few people are actually ugly, almost everyone, including hot people, are normal looking.

People are laughing but yeah, chasing what insta tells you is attractive is a fools errand. A flawed but still loveable person will do unspeakable things to you while being over the moon about how hot you are.

Beauty is massively over valued and is a poor investment.

In my long career I have dated on both ends of the very attractive and very intelligent spectrum, and I’ve learned that I simply cannot be in a relationship with an idiot for long, no matter how hot they are. At one point I thought hot and dumb and obsequious was the right combo, but it turns out I am not psychologically cut out to be worshipped. When you spit on me I need to carry some real disdain for my sophomoric understanding of Proust, and not just because I asked you to.

Beauty is massively over valued and is a poor investment.

especially so considering that the rules are written by the people who benefit the most from it while the rest of us – the remaining 95% – are making due w what we can get.

Let’s just say, she’s unlearning her conception of attraction” is the woke way of saying a girl is an easy lay.

Honestly, after 30 years of dating, I feel like claiming the beautiful party types are the easier lay rather than not-so-beautiful looking people. Especially if she’s the type that likes some alcohol.

You can still be super picky about who you’re with. It’s just that the main metric isnt attractiveness.
