The modern Popes do occasionally pontificate righteously.

Not enough to make up for the rest of the Church’s crap though.

You know, funny thing is time flipping around, I remember in the days of ratsinger, and my view on american catholics was that they were mostly good hearted people, doing the best they can to see humanity in a corrupt organization that’s rotting from the head.

Now it feels like the popes are largely good people, doing the best they can, while many of their followers have turned into the most vile worse side of humanity, and as they try to steer it, the more the following just turns on the pope and more towards the hateful monsters like the guy who killed the last pope.

Something the art community has been waiting for for decades. Some blessed soul was finally brave enough to define what art is or isn’t, and it was the Pope! It has a spark, a soul.

After years of hating on various communities, including most of the art ones, they might finally be onto something.
