99% of my interaction with India is -

“Hello sir my name is Paul Smith. I have been looking at your website and I have discovered it is not optimised for SEO and I would like to offer you the chance to improve your search rankings”

    Every. Fuckin. Day.

      Mine goes as follows.

      Them: Hello I’m looking for…

Me: Mmmmmmmmm fuck yeah god damn your dick smells so fucking hot.

      Them: Excuse me sir???

Me: I said your dick smells fucking hot. You wanna meet up later and get tongue deep in each others ass holes.

      Them: :click:

I don’t get many scam calls or bill collectors anymore. The trick is that you ONLY do it when they call you. In other words don’t call them and harass them. If it’s a legit company it might even be illegal for that company to make their employees call someone that sexually harasses their employees. Also if it’s a woman i usually describe the smell of the genitalia. Otherwise it’s the same.

A lot of Indian dudes are homophobic as hell. To add to the awkwardness of the conversation I lower my voice to make it real deep. Then I say each word slowly and breathy. That way I know they hear me and each word kind of hangs there for a second.

I went from regularly having 60+ scam calls a day. To around 3 a week in the course of like 3 months. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The stupid part is that the scam calls weren’t even for me. They would ask for the guy that had this number before me.

That’s like 50% of my interaction. The other half is folks with a doctorate of some variety who are as normal as someone with a doctorate can be. And that’s not surprising it’s a huge country and the people I’m most likely to interact with over here on the other side of the world that are from there are either going to be highly educated folks who moved to a wealthier nation or service workers/scammers who call said wealthier nation. It’s not like there’s gonna be many electricians who immigrate from India to the US and the manual laborers who leave India rarely cross the ocean to look for work.

        Might be

A guy known for the being our dumbest politician for the last two decades is currently leading PM polls

        Might be

That he promises more and faster immigration to Indians

        Might be

        That he is anti-environment, anti-vaccine, anti-gay

        Might be

That he wants to increase taxes

However if the person above is a fan of his then it could be that his bigger competitor isn’t stepping down to give him a free win

I don’t think any of those are going to hurt our PR though compared to aligning more with the Americans than Europe which we’ve been doing for a long time now

India isn’t particularly known for rapists, but perhaps for fecal matter in the streets and rivers. Still I’ve been to countries where there’s only open trenches for sewers and you have to be careful about drinking water at all, and even still I’d go back again. There’s much more to any country than the lowest common denominators.
