i grew up homeschooled with extreme abuse, and have been saying this for years. i have gotten a surprising amount of pushback for it, even by friends who i consider progressive. it’s strange
oh, and the adult administering the curriculum must be licensed to teach in that state and keep up with licensing. (my mom had the equivalent of a self taught 3rd grade level education)
Just another reason to make home “schooling” illegal. It enables abuse on so many levels.
You want to home school? No problem. Just need to make sure your home is up to the same standards as regular school.
That would still missing the key issue here: regular contact with children of the same age group.
you really only need the testing and education requirements for the teacher, everything else costs too damn much.

Good luck getting any of that done if they claim they’re a “religious teaching institution.”

put that damn wall back up. they get sundays, real school gets monday through friday.
