    The Erlenmeyer culture flourished for about 150 years, only to decline due to competition from the e-cig civilization

        Keanu Reeve wrote a comic called BRZRKR, about an 80,000 year old warrior.

        At one point he tells someone that he’s forgotten how many different languages he’s spoken over the years, but he’s sure he learned calculus at least three times.

          Is Zeno’s paradox (which we only read from second or third hand accounts) anything but the discovery of limit based calculus?

          In the arrow paradox, Zeno states that for motion to occur, an object must change the position which it occupies. He gives an example of an arrow in flight. He states that at any one (durationless) instant of time, the arrow is neither moving to where it is, nor to where it is not.

          Sounds a lot like lim h->0 [f(t+h) - f(t)]/h to me.

          If you assume an idiot recorded this from second hand accounts, this is calculus.

            An idiot recording from second hand accounts is pretty much all human knowledge afais
