This is actually an example of one of my fears - that even down to the fucking Tuckers they are using their found idiot and his wake of voters to get into power and will be rid of him at the first opportunity.

And here’s the controversial part - they will make hay out of his removal after planning it. And by hay I mean war.

Would a Vice President killing a President be an official act that grants immunity under the supreme court’s new “laws don’t apply to presidents” bullshit?

What if Vance uses the 25th amendment on Trump, then becomes president? He can do anything at that point.

        Vice President killing a President

Vance killing the president is now on my Bingo card.

Vice president doing it wouldn’t be but once he kills the president, he is automatically president per the 25th amendment. Then he just pardons himself. Bam, criminally immune. And pardon power is in article 2, can’t be questioned, automatically an official act with presumptive immunity.

This supreme court ruling is so dumb.

Using the 25th amendment to remove a living president would require cooperation of the cabinet and congress (if Trump contests the removal).

I don’t think there’s a reason to try to get rid of Trump. I imagine he’s easily controllable since he has no apparent ideology, and is just a greedy narcissist. So, money and praise should be enough.
