It’s obvious they are complex, and, frankly, my interest in them is not enough to invest the time to even get to a basic understanding. So, my canned answer is: “It’s complex, and I don’t feel I know enough to have an opinion about it” If it’s something interesting, I might add on “What do you think about it?” If it’s not interesting I might throw on “And I’m not interested enough in even having an opinion. Thank you and goodbye” That last part goes well with telecallers 🤣
There’s a whole bunch of topics I just “Nope!” out of.
