Let them who are most pro-war get to fight on the front lines.
Idc if it’s a one sided genocide, this fluffy politician who wouldn’t last a 3 mile ruck should get to experience wtf he’s actually advocating.

World in Conflict is one I don’t see talked about. Squad based military RTS.
Multiplayer on that was so fun. Guessing how the enemy was moving in order to time how you call ordinance on them was my favorite part
You’re upset that other person is jumping to conclusions about you, yet you jumped to conclusions about the thread OP and something burger not having the ability to come up with the advice you doled out.
Your responses implied that they needed was some rudimentary social knowledge when they’re trying to explain that the loneliness epidemic is more nuanced than the meme portrayed it as.
Tbh your advice was pretty typical
I agree, it’s an oversimplification. The Democratic party has become the party of ‘going back to business as usual’ and refuses to lower it’s commitment to the corporations that fund it. Trump won 2016 because he was a genuine establishment shaker.
Leftists need a rouge candidate who refuses to bow. Someone who shows promise of CHANGE and not business as usual.
One of the missing pieces that was mentioned by someone else is the purchase of residential properties by businesses being at all time highs.
WFH is efficient and makes sense in many cases. Private equity firms buying homes and holding them to sweat out the market far beyond what a solo landlord could or would, does not.
Ty for calling out the non-sense. Somehow accusing Democrats of also being on the take is considered outlandish.
Theyve got us fighting over scraps (abortion, marriage, the right to express ourselves and love who we want) but they are in full agreement on where most of the tax dollars go (MIC, contracting companies of powerful friends, subsidies for factory farms).
Gonna have to wake up the dormant Sheeple.

if you create a situation where the cop does not feel safe
You reach for your license ‘too fast’ - cop does not feel safe Acorn falls on car - cop doesn’t feel safe You are boiling water at home - cop does not feel safe You are writhing in pain underneath their boot - cop does not feel safe
US cops are literally brainwashed into feeling like the public is a threat to them. They are wired to look for a reason to escalate.
In the US, unlike most other countries, medical doctors are most at risk for suicide.
The book ‘Determined’ makes a great point on how schizophrenia victims have been mistreated throughout history.
That and the full throttle oil policy. Sigh of relief knowing I won’t have to rethink my outlook.
I read somewhere that one of the effects is abstention from treatment. Essentially the idea that, sometimes, to do nothing is better than blasting the body with macro doses of foreign chemicals. This seems to be the case here.
Ahh yes, the freedom loving state. Texas. That’s right.
Yeah I feel you. To echo your last sentence, there’s that old study of money leading to increased happiness but only up to a certain point (I think it was like 75k USD pre-covid)

To add to this, there’s been evidence that as an individual accrues more wealth, their empathy response lessens over time.
My arm chair psychologist hypothesis is that: as the individual sees their quality of life increase, they look at other human beings in deplorable conditions, and their empathy response atrophies in order to avoid cognitive dissonance.
There’s a concept in the study of wealthy individuals which goes over their desire to hide impoverishment from their view.
A lot of people criticized Dems for exactly this when Harris was appointed after Biden dropped out.
