I am a white man and I’ve been called a cunt more times than I can count. And I’ve called my friends and random people a cunt so many insane amounts of times that even the greatest computer on earth couldn’t calculate it.

1·8 days agoThe only thing I found is that you need to install a video player, an image viewer and other minor things that don’t get included on the OS.
Upside is you don’t get all the normal windows bloatware, and you choose when to update not the computer shutting down for an update when it feels like it.
3·9 days agoMy work laptop is a touch screen, The only time I’ve used it is when I accidentally brushed the corner of the screen reaching passed and closed the window I was working on.
I only moved off 7 about 18 months ago. Check out W10 LTSC IoT It’s much nicer than regular W10 and it’s supported until 2032
I’m still trying to understand what the hell Tessaract is… I’ve only moved over Lemmy in the last two weeks. Before I was banned on Reddit there was also something everyone was angry about different reddit apps.
I’ve never understood any of this… I just want to talk to people, read silly shit and annoy everyone.
1·14 days agoI’m 37 years old, I only buy digital when it’s cheap and easy.
I will never ever buy a $100 game digitally. Years ago when I bought overlord, overlords DLC and overlord 2 all for $5 and I got 40+ hours out of it… That was 10 years ago… If that is taken away from me then I’ll be annoyed but I won’t want to burn down the entire industry.
Rockstar a few years ago created a terrible remaster of GTA3, GTA VC and GTA SA and they wanted to exterminate the original PS2 versions.
I’m Happy the digital versions but I still have all of the PS2 discs in a box somewhere.
GTA VI is releasing soon with no disc… Enjoy! No disc… And no Lazlow… I’ve got plenty of other games on discs I can play.
Which is really depressing as the only time I buy digital is when the games are 60% off or more.
What about birds you heartless monster, you have ruined my day!
It is good fun though… It’s part of the reason I got permabanned from Reddit… That and criticizing Israel and Nazis.

8·15 days agoWait… why is this a question…? I guess it’s the same as when people ask my why Adobe is so terrible, why HP is terrible or why Apple is so terrible.
Companies eventually get so big and powerful they only care about companies.
Stop paying for Microsoft, pirate is Stop using Microsoft office, Get libre office Stop using HP, get Lenovo or Dell instead Everyone everywhere should stop using apple.
As much as I hate Apple/OoS and I do truly hate Apple… Adobe is the worst company on earth.
Easiest way to explain it is that Apple and Microsoft exist just to steal all your money Adobe not only wants to steal all your money but they wanted take it all then make you pay so they can lazily explain why they took your money. HP is in the corner breaking all your furniture so they can charge you a fee to fix it and put Microsoft, apple and Adobe trash on it.
I’m going to miss getting to annoy my English, Bosnian and Croatian colleagues by calling it “The Big Soccerball game”
And asking “why the players don’t just pick up the ball and run with it… that would be faster”.
Or lastly “When is someone going to throw a pie to make this more interesting?”

That’s actually really cool. All I can think of with AI is how many of the users I support are going to start throwing critical, private customer data into it asking for a recap… Completely unaware of how it’s going to store that data
This is why Lemmy is better than Reddit. On Reddit this would get reposted an hour later on one of those terrible explain the joke subreddits and get 5x the upvotes.
