Is your password longer than 60 characters?
I hope not. They host a lot of interesting communities, and have a lot of users.
Interesting post from lemm.ee’s admin on defederation as a last resort: https://lemm.ee/post/35472386?scrollToComments=true
And I’m saying this as someone who’s been trying to get !linux@programming.dev as a viable alternative to the Lemmy.ml community
That’s usually not the case on other communities
Oh nice! Did you consider crossposting to !linguistics@mander.xyz? That would probably interest people over there as well
!football@lemmy.world for people interested in football
Me too at first ha ha
Always interesting to see lemmy.ml slur filter at work
I see where you come from, but the two still seem very close to each other.
About the potential flood of posts, there is already the “How are doing with your communities?” weekly thread which could be a way to aggregate those in one place (and it kind of already does, I remember posting to a few communities after having about them there)
It’s usually easier to discuss in one place that across several. Feel free to post on !fedigrow@lemm.ee, there are already 302 subscribers, you should get some reaction.
Also, I created the community promotion thread on !fediverse@lemmy.world: https://hilariouschaos.com/post/304306?scrollToComments=true
Hello,
Isn’t that just what !fedigrow@lemm.ee is about? 😄
I was expecting a Catalan instance, a bit disappointed ha ha
Good luck!
I get that, it’s just if there’s no mod to post it I think it’s better to have a topic rather than not, especially since it can be pinned afterwards if any mod stumbles into the community again.
Indeed, which is why I start this kind of threads from time to time
As for the monthly thread, I feel like if it doesn’t happen “officially” the first person to have something to write should just post one themselves instead of waiting. Not like there’s a lot of activity here so it should remain visible long enough to gain traction.
Hello,
It’s more about pinning it to keep it visible, especially over the course of a month
Thank you, first link works for me!

Thanks!
