How about subscribing to podcasts’ RSS feeds the way god intended and put them into a proper podcatcher like AntennaPod instead of listening to them on Spotify or whatever tf it is y’all are doing? Try goharbor.io, that’s what I use. I think (but I’m not sure) that Forgejo/Gitea and Gitlab can also cache images.

Yeah, you would think so, but we have weekly demonstrations of Nazis in the streets (Pegida, Coronazis, people trying to disturb CSD parades,…), Nazis trying to get into parliaments and councils (AfD, parts of CDU), Nazis in talk shows and interview, Nazis writing for big newspapers, Nazis in our police and armed forces, … Just because they mostly don’t use 3rd Reich Nazi symbols, doesn’t make them any less Nazi, and Germany has far too much tolerance for them. It’s basically the same playbook as anywhere else: make small steps, undermine institutions, spread talking points, gain traction, destroy democracy.

As a German, I can assure you that there’s still a metric shitton of Nazis here, and as far as I’m concerned, they could fuck all the way off.

If you have a network share available on your LAN, you might want to try the FolderSync App. It can make your phone sync its photos every time you’re in your WiFi and plugged into the charger.

Alternatively, if you have NextCloud, the NextCloud App can do that for you.

+1 for Ben Eater. There will be things you won’t understand, but for those at least you get a good starting point for reading them up.

EDIT: Main thing for me was to watch them when I was rested and could concentrate, and I didn’t binge them in one sitting; these are probably best consumed when they’re not just running in the background.
