Rush Limbaugh believed that, right up until his opiate addiction became public knowledge, then again after he got clean.

No, because drug dealing in this context is hurting someone to exploit them for profit while gun dealers are performing an important service to their communities. You wouldn’t consider a grocery store responsible for someone’s obesity because they sold flour.

I think priming the Military to eventually use it against the American population was the main purpose of this gathering.

Does anybody have experience with this?1·17 days agoBaking can be alot of work for the amount of product you have to sell at the end, it’s why baked good can be so expensive when not made in a factory. Try to be realistic and choose things that aren’t especially labor intensive.
Pro-tip: Add a little butter at the end right before the garnish (called mounting it with butter) but don’t fully mix it in.

Dems erupt on House floor as Mike Johnson orders recess despite shutdown62·17 days agoTurns out that having the legislature operate via a Gentleman’s Agreement that assumes good faith behavior and concentrates power in the hands of a small number of people was really bad for Freedom, Liberty, and Democracy.
F_State@midwest.socialto News@lemmy.world•Hegseth Summoned Military Leaders to Say “FAFO” in Disturbing Speech3·17 days agoHonestly, most German generals didn’t get purged, they mostly went along with the regime and they were considered reasonably competent during the war. The Soviets on the other hand had a big purge of their senior officers just before WW2 and the war went much worse for them in the beginning than it would have otherwise.
Venezuela is a good modern example of loyalty over competence and it’s the analogy I’ve been warning people about since the last year of Trumps first term. Firing the disloyal and promoting the loyal fucked over their entire government and economy.
F_State@midwest.socialto News@lemmy.world•Hegseth Summoned Military Leaders to Say “FAFO” in Disturbing Speech2·17 days agoDamn, that was an incredible amount of boot you just licked. Trump and Hegseth are going after people for Political Disloyalty. But to answer part of your bad faith question, Americans remain Americans regardless of being in gangs or being black. And terrorists/talibans/cartels are NOT the people they’ve been brutalizing with the new Gestapo.
There’s a lesson to be learned here behind just idiot presidents and Nobel prizes. In almost every situation, Regime change if more effective is spear headed internally by an opposition leader rather that forced by an external power.
