I’m pretty sure they just charge the local currency equivalent in BTC at the time of purchase.

Do you have a source for that? I’ve seen local businesses like pizza shops and such accept btc.
Edit: the majority of crypto transactions are likely between exchanges, miners, and exchange customers. An example is the Blackrock BTC ETF buys and sells btc off an exchange in realtime in relation to the ETF purchases. I’m not saying no crime happens on the btc network but to claim 100% of transactions are crime based is just false.
Isn’t USD also linked to many of those? Gangs launder physical cash through businesses, ransomware can ask for credit cards or bank accounts, terrorists may take USD as it can be spent nearly anywhere.
I must be out of the loop, what is wrong with pepe aside from having strong links to 4chan?
I used to do the same when i was too poor to afford data on my phone or when i go through areas with poor service.
This requires foresight. Most people don’t plan on getting lost.
You track you direction throughout the day. My road runs east/west. If i leave my house and turn left, I’m going west, turn right im going east, I keep this in mind as often as I can.
I also know my general area pretty well and what direction each town/city is in relative to my home, which helps me find my direction if i lost it. I also like to remember which direction each major intersection goes as that helps me keep track as well.
It’s the saying i learned as a kid. I’d picture a compass and repeat the words.
Never Enter Stinky Washrooms
Even if you have to look at it first, once on it you can go by feel where as i find i struggle to do the same on a fully touch control.
Haptic feedback like knob clicks or button presses are much easier to use without taking eyes off the road as often.
I mean their profile pic is them outdoors on a paddle board, so first impressions is yea maybe you do know cardinal directions? Anyone who spends extended time outdoors should.
I think its just best that we don’t force people who don’t want or can’t handle the responsibility of rasing a child into raising a child. People generally are not good at things they don’t want to do and being a parent is a pretty important job that often lasts for life.
Republicans all care about life and babies until it comes time to give time off to raise the kids, provide welfare programs for poor families, provide schools with lunches. Can’t kill a fetus in the womb but they dont give a fuck if the child starves at 5.
If she can still bake a tray of cookies on her own, she ain’t ready to go yet.
So are they going to condemn the church as well?
I could see the blackrock angle as trying to appease the working class. Like “see we hate big wealth too” but then never actually do anything to hurt blackrock.
The boy scouts one is especially baffling. A lot of boys become more traditionally “manly” through boy scouts. It is physically active and they typically learn skills like camping, fire starting, wood working. We were also expected to do good deeds, be polite, and overall be decent members of society that help where is needed, such as litter clean ups and tree plantings. I guess the latter half of my point is where their issues start?
And we’ve also got a bigger housing bubble
EPA and revitalize auto industry is obviously a conflict of interest.
