  • No, I disagree.

The last beacon of hope is what will come out of the Luigi case. The conservatives are already on the march over Kirk. What will come of Luigi, whether they kill him too or imprison for life, will determine how the public will react.

The Republican Party has made it abundantly known how little they give a shit about children. They weaponize them when they want laws passed, but immediately discard them when said laws do pass. They weaponize them again when they want to make a point about how much they care about the sanctity and sacredness of american values, but stop caring about them again when children get shot up in schools.

So, the whole Epstein bullshit is nothing.

  • Little bit of a pointer but you can edit your post and title.

Anyways, digressing there. But, I am always willing to hear some alternative takes from different people with different perspectives. The dealbreaker is in the approach. If you cannot come into a discussion, a conversation, a debate or anything without feeling the need to put down someone to prove a point or be self-righteous? You can go fuck yourself and be placed in the blocked bin.

And even so, there is only so much irrational and wild things people do and say that just upsets the vibe with someone or groups to where, blocking can be seen as a way to filter that out.

  • I value my time, patience and sanity. There had been too many instances where I’ve poured way too much investment into things or people that just were not worth a single minute. The moment I feel someone gives me a snarky remark, wants to be a prick, wants to gaslight and whatever petty and bitter levels of engagement they want to bother me with. Fuck them, they’ll be blocked.

It does not make you weak or petty, that’s just them making up bullshit to excuse themselves when they knowingly were the problem.

Now in some cases it can be a little stupid to block people, like knowing you’re the one starting shit or deciding to get into debates you aren’t fitted to handle. Why would you do that to yourself? If you can’t handle it, don’t do anything. Lesson learned.

Damn if there was a function in real life where I can block someone and their existence disappears where other people can see them and I can’t? Fuck, dude, sign me up.

  • Well, maybe tell Microsoft and others to stop sucking in these technological advances they treat as shiny misunderstood toys that are forced down everyone’s throats and make everyone’s lives a lot harder than they’re supposedly making easier.

I am not arguing against the idea of upgrading at all or avoiding security at all. What I am always tired of, is just seeing the direction Microsoft takes and then telling people to shove off into their shitty new ecosystem for the sake of security. Like no, you’re watering down your OS and dumbing down everything while telling millions of users like “well, uh, like it because we’re Microsoft so fuck you”.

And nothing is improving or giving people the strong urge to immediately upgrade because of said directions and choices.

Which is why we have this delayed lapse in people just stretching out these support cycles who’re not interested in hopping to the next OS, because they aren’t liking what they see and sometimes experience on another’s computer that has that latest OS version.

By the time Windows 10 is truly done, Windows 11 has its announcement for the last of its updates and by the time Microsoft moves to 12 in however they handle it, maybe then.

  • Here’s the thing and people are gonna not like it but I don’t care.

Charlie Kirk now is going to be treated like a martyr for a while, a vessel of any and all actions partaken from the conservatives. So, they’ll just be fueled now to take up arms against their opponents as if they aren’t in control of everything when their party affiliation already is.

I would’ve wanted the places swapped and Luigi is the one killed, because then his martyrdom would empower the people that should be the ones making the big changes against people who think like Charlie Kirk and abide by whatever this current administration is about.

I mean the contrast between both cases is glaring.
