True that, I’d forgotten. Embarrassing considering how often I bring it up to my clueless fellow Americans. The regime in Tehran are shitheads but Iran is genuinely the aggrieved party in any conflict with the US.

As some other people have pointed out, Poland was briefly at war with the USSR during WW2 because the USSR made a deal with the Nazis to divide the country. Finland was allied with the Nazis for a time out of desperation; it’s debated if they were considered an axis power. And groups from the Baltic countries, seized by the USSR in the chaos of the early war, fought guerilla campaigns against the Red Army well into the 50s (see the Forest Brothers) as well as insurgent groups from a few other eastern European countries like Poland.
The most likely scenario though is that the Poster is an American, is fundamentally ignorant of WW2 history (or any history) and has no clue what they’re talking about.
don’t let .ml hear you say that or the screeching sound they make will be ear splitting
I wasn’t aware there were any citizens in the US who got more than one vote unless you’re referring to the people who get zero votes.
Voting matters but convincing people that it’s less than the bare minimum they need to be doing is like pulling teeth.
Does your existence entail alot of self-loathing then?
Are you a shitbag IRL or just online?
I never denied that Russia trolls online; it’s a huge part of their intelligence doctrine. Also, humans direct networks of bots.

If voting didn’t matter, they wouldn’t try so hard to stop folks from doing it. There are different forms of corruption. Traditionally in the US for example, the actual counting of votes (prior to e-voting) is very accurate and voter fraud is very low but alot of effort is spent on preventing people from voting: laws that bar felons from voting coupled with law enforcement efforts that disproportionately target black people for felony arrests and prosecution is a good example. Other tactics are to limit the options people actually have when voting for and to sideline politicians who slip past gatekeepers either by sabotaging their campaigns in the news cycle or minimizing their effectiveness in congress if actually elected: committee appointments have incredible outsized power within the US congress.
You may disagree with all the positions offered but assuming they’re bots is incredibly naive.

Yes, but their grip on reality is slippery, their dedication to campism is frustrating, and their love of strict hierarchy isn’t compatible with Leftist beliefs.
