- Fun fact: Anything with a big capacitor/s can be use to make a DIY taser, sometimes it’s as easy as removing the case to expose the circuit board and pressing that against your enemies. - Brings me back to when everyone in my highschool got really into DIY tasers. Some of us still carry the burn scars.
- Wild mushroom and grouse cream soup. Because I found a bunch of black morels, my buddy shot a grouse, and my other friend brought cream. - Also onion, garlic, herbs, and I started with a roux to thicken it.

- We call it Pancake Day where I’m from. Because we eat a lot of pancakes.
- Don’t forget Pancake Day.
- It’s a fertility festival so round things makes sense. - It should have more phallic and vaginallic foods though, like carrots, zucchini, butternut squash, oysters and tacos.
- I want the hatching an egg tradition. Every year you get a new mystery chicken.
- Some people are into that.

This is a problem with any AI generated content and why so many stable diffusion platforms have banned words and groups of terms, if they don’t flat out ban all sexual terms. But, since the apps use real language, it’s impossible to think of every possible route to an end. The terms of service and moderation try to plug the holes, but they can’t be 100% effective.
9·5 days ago 9·5 days ago- I’ve run a lot of art workshops for mixed age groups and adults. No one is ever unhappy after making art together, it’s a wholesome way to get out with friends or meet new people, or just learn a new skill. - Paid workshops charge $20-100, which is an unnecessary expense for people these days. - The initial investment in supplies can be as low as $5/person depending on the type of art, locations can be cheap to free (libraries, community centers, quiet nights at bars and restaurants,) and if you can’t run the workshop yourself, many artists would be happy to do it for a small honorarium. - For 10K, you could run dozens of free art workshops for a year or two.
6·5 days ago 6·5 days ago- Sounds like I picked the wrong movie to watch on shrooms. Or… the right one. - Watching Splice on ecstacy was worse.
241·4 days ago 241·4 days ago- Not mushrooms, again. - Before my partner left for a work trip he showed me his stash of mushrooms in the freezer. - I wasn’t big into mushrooms since my first and only trip to that date, where I spent five hours wide awake in my room, believing my curtains, lamp and bedspread were going to dismember me and absorb my nutrients (my curtains were an amoeba.) But my boyfriend made a pretty good case for blending up a microdose fruit smoothie and chilling while he was away. He told me there were different kinds of shrooms, that I needed to measure the dose and just create a chill vibe. - Day one, I didn’t even think about the freezer stash. By day three I was so bored and alone I figured, what the hell? - Anyway, he came home to an impressive blanket fort in the living room and a box of farraday mesh fabric I bought to stop the robots because I watched Ex Machina.

- I agree that part of it is heuristics, as someone else mentioned here. - Another part is cultural. I was once invited to speak at a panel where we were supposed to be discussing news in our sector. Instead of getting the information ahead of time, the MC just gave us headlines from articles and told us to discuss. Unfortunately, this kind of thing is common in talk shows and panels, reinforcing the idea that people don’t need to read content to get the gist.

However, advertising music only available for bitcoin on the dark web could work as a marketing tactic if the music appeals to that niche audience. - Thing is, I’m on the dark web, I use cryptocurrency and I like underground music, and this doesn’t appeal to me. In my mind, I’m wondering why they didn’t just build and host their own website instead, and sell their album for crypto. I would question why they only accept bitcoin if they’re trying to be subversive. I go to the dark web for drugs, not music, and would be paying in Monero. - Alternatively, some artists have already NFT’d their music so people can purchase it for crypto. And, long before that, radiohead released In Rainbows independently through their website, which only took donations. So there are ways to skip the middlemen without the gimmick. - Could it work? Yeah, it could. I don’t think it would work very well.
