That’s despicable for sure.
That’s not any different from the Palestinian point of view though

Wow.
Can’t put any criticism against Biden here…
We’re clear that every Republican candidate is worse than the last. Voting biden in 2024 will help the short term. You’re going from crisis to crisis. It’s by design. Can’t put the neighborhood fire out if you’re always worried about your house.
How would Trump be worse for the Palestinians?
Would Bibi bomb even harder? Because he seems to be ignoring international pressure now. Would Trump give even more bombs to Bibi? Because there doesn’t seem to be a handle on the throttle now.
Trump moved the embassy. Did biden move it back?
Trumps despicable. There’s lots of reasons to prefer biden come November, but how is biden better on this issue?
He lives somewhere. He shouldn’t ever be comfortable
Srsly Wrong’s latest podcast talked a lot about how oil companies funded grassroots pro oil campaigns and then linked it to our larger culture and how we can’t trust anyone anymore.
I never thought I’d be able to say not trusting each other is big oils fault, but here we are
Lenin and the Bolsheviks essentially legalized it though.
Nobody likes Stalin. If you do, think about your life and your place in the world
Exactly. All we can do is try to improve.
Southern Ontario checking in. We did that too. ‘Gyped’ and ‘indian giver’ were also things.
Although, I had an indigenous friend one summer who quickly became popular because he was very funny. He used to use slurs against all of the white kids all of the time. It was the most effective anti racist tactic I’ve ever witnessed. None of us were comfortable using a lot of the slurs that were baked into our culture, unless it was with our friend and a smile.
List of contacts and then there’s the conversations she’s holding.
Guy was probably unfaithful, but why would she want to do that?
You didn’t miss much
Resorting to insults when you can’t get your point across in a reasonable way. My bet is you’re a teacher.
Cheers
You’re starting to get it?
That the true believers aren’t afraid of death. The believers that are scared at the concept of dying aren’t actually believers at all.
100% it’s different.
Just because a movie has a jump scare it isn’t necessarily a scary movie. There’s a difference between some existential dread and ‘boo’.
I’d argue that the accident is a startle response with body horror mixed in.
Some people are scared of death. Doesn’t matter the cause. That’s what I’m talking about. It’s 100% different than a fatal car accident.
I grew up just outside south Detroit. Those network television shows were nuts. It was the 90s. Crime was everywhere in Detroit. This was the era of hundreds of buildings being burned on devils night, and every single crime was done by the same guy. I remember his description clearly. 5’9-6’. Short hair. Between the ages of 20-35.
I often forget that DNA evidence has been much more important regarding wrongful conviction than any other facet.
A fatal car accident is different. Could be a shock scare or just not wanting to be injured.
Belief in god has no bearing in reality.
Having said that, my grandfather outlived my grandmother by 10-15 years. On his deathbed, he was holding some marriage pictures. He was looking forward to seeing her. Guy believed 100%. Still makes me tear up thinking about it.
I agree with you.
Either the person isn’t a ‘good follower’ and isn’t going to the good place.
Or they don’t actually believe. Because there should be no fear or apprehension about going to the good place
‘As I lay dying’ might appeal to you. It’s another song that’s great but nothing like the other stuff in the catalog piece
You could say it was ‘state of the art’
Lol. I’m the opposite. Love his other stuff. I can sing along to most of the songs on two albums, but that hit… It’s an instant classic, but very much a pop song. His other stuff is almost antipop
I’m optimistic about the protests as well.
What’s the difference between what’s going on now and carpet bombing? 60% of buildings in the strip have been damaged by bombs. Sources from december are saying that it’s the most destructive bombing campaign since the second world war. Gaza is already being carpet bombed.
