Actually, MythBusters proved that one couldn’t happen, unless the bullets were sub-sonic or low-powered and the diver was within 1 or 2 foot of the surface… water’s just too dense and depletes the power. And something higher power just made a big splash and bits of shrapnel that didn’t have much penetrating power.
You mean 2267,709?
Funny… that’s a phone number I know.
Aw, crapitalism will break because line cannot always go up.
Cry me a fucking river. Humanity is a cancer, and we need to be about half our current population. Yeah, we’re not gonna like it when we drop that population. Our kids, my daughter, are going to have it fucking tough. But if we want to survive long term… We gotta stop.
In one sentence, you say, “just use a password manager”, on the next, “not really an improvement if you need extra software”. I’m not sure what argument you’re having, but neither one really addresses what this article is about.
This keeps the passkeys in the password manager (I use dashlane, it rocks, and synchronises the passkeys just like the passwords), but this new protocol allows you to change and export the passkeys to other password managers, preventing vendor lock in and allowing for transfer to another password manager.
Hope this clarifies things! And everyone should use a password manager of some kind; we should expect whatever site we’re using to be hacked, and the only way to be safe is to have a unique password per site.
Visually, at least on the outside, it looks something like a Stottie, Oggie or Pastie from the farming/mining areas of the UK. I always find it fascinating to see the convergent evolution of this sort of food - edible with one hand, hot and filling, with a crust that can be discarded if hands are filthy, or et if not.
It was a term coined to describe the step-by-step process modern tech platforms go through:
It’s specifically that, and there wasn’t a word that described that process previously, as it’s only something that’s possible in a modern, “web scale” worldwide platform.
Crepuscular. Related to twilight, dimness, the golden hour.
I like this picture. The blur, the background bokeh, it’s just… Nice.
Thanks for posting, you’ve a nice cat.
As “three dead trolls in a baggie” famously sung… “Every OS Sucks”.
As true today as when it was first penned.
With a PFY ready just outside the room with the improvised mega volt cables incase you get wise and try and bolt. And something happened to the lifts so the doors opened without the lifts being there…
Been there too
Mine is sidereal… I always said side real. Then, I learned it was (roughly) Sid air heal.
Though I did use to say Copernicus as copper knickers too.
I haven’t watched it…
… But you totally should.
Translation added, roughly done. Tip: modern Android devices let you press and hold the switcher, which takes a screen shot of whatever is on screen. Then, you can press the translate button that appears to translate whatever is on screen. Works with the camera too - easier than firing up Google lens or whatever.
Of course, you need all the Google gubbins to do it, but if you’ve got that it’s really powerful.
Roughly translated:
We exorcise you, every unclean spirit, every satanic power. Every infernal invasion of adversity, every diabolical assembly and sect. Therefore, curse the dragon, make your church safe to serve you in freedom. We ask you. Listen to us.
It is a bit different to say, “HP changed their recipe” versus “some dumb ass redistributor changed HP’s award winning recipe and suffered the consequences” :-D
Either way, I’m glad to get the original. Nothing better with some sausages or bacon…
I think that’s because the HP franchise their recipes, and different locations have “regional” variants. Here in the UK, it’s never significantly changed so you’re probably getting the English import - so, of course, there’s a shipping cost on top.
Murray!
You’re using teams. Modern teams is built on Skype, which is why it’s shit.
