  • It’s because a lot of us really believed that this election was a no-brainer. Most of us did vote, but all of us didn’t vote. It is a very resounding defeat of all that was riding up into the election. And now that it’s over, the wind has completely been knocked out of our sails.

I can’t get too emotional anymore. I’m too tired to activist. It isn’t to say that I don’t care, I do, but if I care too much, then I’m upsetting my own life’s security and stability. I am only one person, it takes a motivated and collective group to resolve problems. We had the chance, no, we had multiple chances and all of them has been blown.

We’re now going to suffer the consequences and we’re now going to get a very, very harsh reminder of the saying “Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it”. And the more we continue not learning, not developing, not regrouping, and not refining. We’re going to suffer for prolonged periods.

  • Shut the fuck up about the woes with your ex. You’re meant to move on and seek new people. Your ex should be old news, out of sight and out of mind. No new potential date should have to hear you crying about your bad marriage, about how things were once good between you and the other person. Because that’s you not letting go, regardless of what you’ve been through.

And if you keep droning on about your past relationships, you are chopping down what interest there is between you and the new person. That’s why you don’t get anyone new.

  • Facebook’s time has long expired, because Instagram and Threads have come up as just simply alternatives. Yet they’re from the same company.

Tech support people don’t exist, you have to rely on a dumb hub system that likely will not answer everything.

There’s still features that people have been demanding for years and years that are never coming, like being able to remove likes and reactions from people you’ve removed and blocked.

Facebook is basically where your privacy goes to die, because, why else are they recommending you the same people to re-add when you re-register on an entirely new e-mail, entirely new profile .etc? It’s because they’re stashing your data in their servers just to re-use on you.

  • Meanwhile Steam over there, cutting down support for Windows 7 and 8. Which narrows people’s visitation when it comes to old games. Like, Steam is not notorious for the upkeep of old games, let’s be honest. They never were. The only games they cared about supporting is understandably, their own when it comes to modernizing. But a lot of the time, you see old DOS games released on there, old Win 9x/XP/7/8 .etc games released and they have aged poorly. The publisher nor developer lifts a finger, leaving it to community to do the leg work.

That is why the idea of Valve cutting Windows support offends me, because if you aren’t going to put in the work to make old games work as fluently with modern Windows OSes, why bother cutting support? Because some games, actually ran better on older hardware and yes I get it, coming across old hardware tends to be a challenge but virtualization and emulation doesn’t simply cut it. So that leaves again the only option is for Valve to swing that multi-billion dollar hand around, to get a program, that will make all old games run as well on modern systems.

This is where GOG has always been strong in.
