What I care about is what people do. Every person has vile things they WANT to do, impulses they choose not to act on. None of us are purely innocent in our own heads. As long as it stays there, there’s no reason to condemn someone.

Assuming they’ve never done anything egregious in the past, yeah. Anything else is a thought crime and prejudiced, and not a system good for a government.

Reasonable people also agree that unless they have _done something, rather than just _be something, they’re fine.
