So you could just use Email in these archaic programs called Thunderbird etc. If you really wanted to use gmail. You know, without adds, without the need for an ad blocker, without AI recommendations and at your leisure.

But hey, you’d have to install something on your computer for that… how horrible.

And who uses computers for work anyway, you can just write your essay on a tablet. (but there are also email apps on those)

It’s a shittier way to work but hey it’s easier.

You may achieve biologic immortality, but you will still age mentally, get jaded and bored. Unless someone also invents being mind wiped after so many centuries. But then you might as well just die normally again right? What is the difference between a person who has no memory of their past and a new person.

Every 20 year old is going to be a 90 year old someday (if they are lucky). Complaining about age is unnecessary, because all those young people you see running around and envy…

You can be content in knowing they’ll pine after youth the same way in a few decades. You can feel smug in knowing that they too will despair in a midlife crisis and look in horror upon the wrinkles in the mirror. That they too will feel the fathomless sadness of knowing that all the things they dreamed about and never achieved will weigh them down deep into murky depth.

That they too will live in the future as old people and not get to fully enjoy its marvels.

You may rejoice, for you have already climbed that mountain. You stand on its peak or near enough, and soon you will jump off into everlasting oblivion…

Shouldn’t Arch be the recommended gaming distro? Not because any focus on gaming but because it is the distro SteeamOS is based on?

MW4:Mercs would be my goto now, I have to try getting that to run, I loved that game, just don’t bother with MW5, it’s the most infuriating game ever.

The AI of your lancemates is so bad it actively prevents you from having fun in most battles (even with AI mod). Most missions are supremely boring auto-generated and even the story missions are mostly not interesting. And there are popup turret emplacements and tanks spawning out of nowhere all over the maps.

Almost no tactics possible.

You think old, pea brained, waddling trump could fake being hit by a bullet and then apply fake blood (or have it applied) while on camera?

That looks… ugly.
