Listen, maybe I’m jaded, but this just feels like one more lame-ass attempt to cram more propaganda about the “efficiency of big business” down our throats.

191·4 days agoIt is astonishing how soundly you missed what the original comment was trying to say. They very clearly meant [The picture of] Andrew Tate [getting his ass handed to him] is funny.
…Or you could continue to be outraged about your mistaken interpretation.

251·4 days agoI disagree. Public humiliation is likely the only thing that could hurt either of these festering polyps in the eyes of their base.
This is dumb and the amount of people upvoting is a perfect demonstration of why we got a second Trump administration.

131·21 days agoI’m not saying Metacritic is the end-all be-all, but it does confirm the most commonly held opinion about the popularity of the modern games. You may think that there is a real debate here but that just isn’t the case. 4 and 76 are pretty firmly the less well received of these games.

Immediately thought of this because of It’s Just Cinema’s series on weird 70/80/90s animated films.

Bieber’s first album didn’t release until 2010. This look was just fairly ubiquitous among teens and 20s hearthrobs in the 2000s. Note the boot cut jeans that you would never catch Bieber wearing.

171·3 months agoI think you’re overestimating the degree to which the majority of users are willing to inconvenience themselves over a browser. If Microsoft announced tomorrow that Windows no longer supported any browser other than edge you wouldn’t see a mass migration to Linux. Instead you would see a healthy uptick in complaints about edge.

ergonomic, don’t have to move your hands.
I can’t even begin to understand what you mean by this. It sounds like maybe you’re an iPhone user, which has almost no native universal controls. Android has options like gestures or a digital button bar, which allow for universal navigation from the same location that physical buttons would be in.
tactile, don’t have to watch the phone to navigate if you are familiar with what you are doing
Those buttons are contextually dynamic. You wouldn’t be able to use them without looking at the screen anyway.
“safer” since you can rest your hands while holding your device without worrying about accidental touch inputs that means you can have a firmer grip
How are you firmly gripping buttons without pushing them? This makes no sense.
It sounds like you have rose tinted glasses inspired by the inferiority of iOS, but I’m making assumptions.

The idea that the core of Dallas is walkable is hilarious. There are portions of DFW that have been specifically curated to be walkable, but they’re usually akin to a theme park. You drive there, park in a giant parking lot (or worse, just endless strips of store front parking), then walk around what is effectively an outdoor shopping mall.
