Fucking EC screwing us over yet again.

He ate theirs eyes so that he could see what they see.
Yes, I agree. I think the solution for these case is to crack down on illegally voting this way.
My wife just read to me a tweet (or whatever) where a husband was making his wife vote by mail so he could guarantee she voted for Trump.
I feel like he should be charged for voting twice. If she doesn’t get to pick who to vote for, she’s not voting, he is. Send him to jail for 15 years (or for whatever they sent that woman who cast the provisional ballot because she was told she could and then she wasn’t eligible to vote in the end).
This. I shut off all notifications from nearly all of my apps. Primary text app, phone app, and just a couple of others. I may temporarily allow them for a special purpose, but once that’s over they all get silenced and I get to them when I get to them. I hate badge notifications, too. So, those are off for EVERYTHING. Grad school cemented that aversion.
She’s so fat that we’re worried her and the sun will form a binary star system.

Honestly, I don’t even feel it’s that bad to do. Is it a naturally occurring pile, no, but unless he’s taking perfectly good stuff from unscathed buildings, it’s still hurricane debris. The only problem in my eyes is that the effort spent piling debris could have been used to actually restore the location. So, I’m with the folks who say he should have found a place they were already piling stuff as part of the cleanup mission.
Wasn’t he a blue shirt in that timeline?
Wasn’t he their boss last time?
You’d have to or the place would smell TERRIBLE! Even taking care of things well, there’d need to be a balance of how many cats to how much space.
To those who disagree with the above:
Except not all the idiots lived in the path of Milton, or even where hurricanes go at all. I can’t explain why the presence of hurricanes has become yet another idiotic political issue, but the MAGA morons are latching on to it.
I like Xitter.
They give me those days “off.” I take those days off. I’m already WFH, but I spend the time prepping for the storms and then taking care of my kids and making sure they feel happy and safe. We make a movie marathon out of it. We download stuff to tablets for when the power goes out. We get out the air mattress and sleep together in the living room (my bedroom is under a tree). Work is not going to interrupt me taking care my family.
I know that I am in a fortunate situation that allows me to do something that many can’t. I don’t take that for granted. That said, I do make it happen.
That’s amazing! I will save this comment so that I can trace it back. I wish you (and the collective us) much success!
Sticking with east coast for now. Not sure where we’ll ultimately end up. Not an easy decision.
Crossing my fingers for you! I’m hoping that Harris and certain single issue referenda (like marijuana) will bring people to the polls and while they’re there, they’ll vote for women’s rights.
And, in states with Democratic majorities, they are codifying it at the state level. Sucks for the rest of us, though. I’m moving out of one of them for many reasons, but one important one is for my children.
They pass it on to someone else’s kids.
