Nowadays you have tank printers. They’re more expensive upfront but the ink is much cheaper. It’s even cheaper if you go for aftermarket ink. I have an Epson and it’s great. Don’t think I’ll go with the cheap ink however, I just don’t use it that much to justify the savings
Yeah. The DIVX discs mentioned here need a special player
That’s pretty much how it works on iOS too as far as I can tell. Nothing boots up until you enter your pin
You are probably referring to FlexPlay, a completely different implementation of the same basic idea.
Yes, but I suspect that GB emulation has been perfect for a decade or 2 lol
It’s not malware it’s more adware. At least it used to be
Mine was empty but enabled. Weird.
Enjoy your affordable Swedish crap!
As long as chromium keeps it I’m fine. I use edge, why should I bother with downloading another browser when the one it comes with is identical?
Customs fees are BS, but I’ve never had to pay them on a replacement product. Yet. I’m waiting on a couple OtterBoxes from the USA next week
A computer is something you’d want to buy with a credit card, as they often come with additional free warranties for various mishaps
They sometimes have an agreement to update the card after expiry
They do. The CPU is a lot better too
They’re everywhere in Canada. Just depends where you live tbh.
He stuck the soldering iron right in the roll of solder. This pretty much ruins it.
I’ve looked into them when buying a new printer. They’re the cheapest laser you can buy, but the refills include the drums, which makes them way more expensive. They’re also extremely small for a laser.
I ended up buying an epson ecotank, which is a lot slower than a laser, but it’s still on the original ink after 800+ pages and it’s never been problematic even if I leave it for a couple months without printing. Doesn’t seem to clog up like others have reported
Windows 8 is actually great. It’s the last efficient OS from Microsoft. I mean, you can actually be surfing on the internet and have 4 GBs of RAM and you’re actually having a good time? By good I mean like 2.5 GB used with the browser open.
Well apparently you could before windows 10, or there’s something wrong with my laptop but it’s always chuggin along after boot at like 3.25 Gb used easy.
Maybe it’s because all the fancy x86 emulation it does is actually pretty RAM hungry too. Oh well.
(It’s a Samsung Galaxy book go. They’re dirt cheap! And I actually quite like it, it’s been my main computer for a few years now actually. )
