  • Your bad faith argument will not deter me. You are right, there are other things to worry about. I fear for the women in my life that may no longer have access to the reproductive health care they deserve. I fear for my LGBT friends who may no longer have the rights they deserve. I’ll easily turn a blind eye to something happening a half a world away so the people nearest and dearest to me can continue to exist. I hope for the safety of Palestinians - but I will not cut off my nose to spite my face.

  • Yes but here’s the thing. I bought my iPhone because it’s damn simple. I don’t like spending time on my phone, simple is efficient. I’m envisioning a future where I have a folder full of wallet apps because every debit/credit card institution creates their own. All circumventing the privacy restrictions Apple forces on their AppStore. Truly the consumer has lost in this situation. If I didn’t want to use the AppStore - I would have bought a different phone.

Bitwarden exploit was already patched. And required a domain joined PC with Windows Hello active, and the attackers already had access to the DC. Not exactly a large vector. Also enterprise PCs shouldn’t be using windows hello to begin with, IMO. Now if we look at CVEs affecting browser password managers, there are literally exploits for download on GitHub.
