I love that vodka with a squeeze of lime and just soda water over some ice. Everyone I’ve had try it seems to like it. It is, however, more of a summer/warm weather drink.

For now my new LG turns on directly to my external device and isn’t connected to the Internet. I did have to change a setting to turn on to the last input used instead of the useless home screen.

I just fill my insulated tumbler all the way to the top with ice and I get a perfect amount of coffee. It stops right where the lid goes on top.

However, if you were going to do it the normal way it would indeed be about 300g of ice. Then you’d put that over fresh ice (bigger pieces so it doesn’t dilute as much?).

I’m just lazy and also don’t want to use a second container so I just do it my way.

$32 USD a month for 2 lbs (0.9 kg) from a local roaster. Not the most economical, but they do a decent job of roasting.

I do pour over iced coffee (aka Japanese Iced Coffee) using a Hario V60. 35g coffee and 300g water brewed over ice (dilutes the rest of the way and chills the coffee) and I’m good to go.

There’s always money in the milk stand (wink wink)!

That was part of why I stick with it. Does exactly what I need to to do and nothing more. It also works with my watch for reminders and confirmation of taking the pills.

Not sure about at rest encryption, but I just label my pill with the first letter or two.

Pretty old project, but it’s pretty well done and doesn’t need a whole lot of the “new” features.

I like that I can keep getting reminded as I don’t always take it right when I need to.

We do too. Now it’s catered with delicious smoked meats and kegs of beer instead of frozen pizza and mountain dew.

Italian Sailor:

• 1 oz lime juice
• 1.5 oz sailor Jerry rum
• 1 oz aperol
• 0.5 oz Malibu
• 0.5 oz simple syrup

Shake over ice and strain into glass. Serve up in a chilled glass or on the rocks.

Slightly sweet from the rum and simple syrup, balanced by the aperol and lime.

Could also be made with egg whites for a creamier texture.
