I am forced to work on Windows server and they keep adding an ugly veneer to the legacy UI, its amazing how ugly, cluttered, and lacking basic functionality it is. Something as basic as adding more than 2 DNS servers is impossible without the legacy UI.

What I did is Reolink with PoE off Amazon for about 100$, with RTSP so it can be absorbed into Home Assistant. Block its mac address for internet access in your router.

But what you gain in performance you lose in data mining. Imagine not being graped for personal information after you paid extra to get it.

I use YouTrack’s knowledgebase, which has a plugin for Draw.IO. I use the cloud version which is free but you can host it yourself.

I bought a 9500t NUC off ebay for 150$, and that is 6 cores and has minimal power usage. I’d definitely go the enterprise scrap yard route.

8bitdo 2c Ultimate I got off Amazon for 30$. Its 2.4ghz and bluetooth, and its hall effect.

8bitDo 2c Ultimate is pretty great, for very cheap on Amazon. Its a hall effect joystick so its more precise and durable. It has bluetooth and 2.4ghz so generally works in Linux I’ve found.
