I’m in my mid 30s and I know a lot of people my age who are like that too. They just aren’t curious about how things function. That’s okay, though. They have other talents that I don’t have.

This made me actually laugh out loud. I’m calling gen z that from now on
I personally don’t, but it’s a sentiment I hear around me from time to time in the workplace or on TV.
I mean that many people just assume younger generations are better with technology.
Oh yeah. It will be bad for everyone, but I meant for liberal candidates in the future.
I should have been more specific.
If the next term doesn’t actively harm people in the public eye, I guarantee they will make it next to impossible to ever win again.
I’m worried about this too. It wouldn’t be surprising if Trump dies in the next four years. Vance is not qualified for the job. He’s smarter than Trump though so scheming would be much worse.
He controls one. Hand picked asshats on the bench, and his supporters won Congress. It’s really hard to see a world where this doesn’t get drastically worse for liberals.
It seems counter intuitive but I don’t think Gen Z is as good with technology as most people assume they are.
I think they just believe everything they see on YouTube and TikTok. Those algorithms just feed people what they want to see and don’t challenge anyone.
It’s the same in Kansas City. I just checked a random house in my city and it’s up almost $100k in 4 years.

For me, it’s my dogs! I love walking and playing with them. I love seeing them happy. They didn’t choose to be my pets, but it really makes me feel good to know they are happy and they love me in their own way.
A random little kid at the park called me “gummy face”, and I definitely did not cry about later that night.
I see buck all the time I’m my neighborhood! I was on a walk earlier this summer and turned a corner to be face to face with a small herd that was hopping fences to graze. The buck was across the street and just stared at me.
At first I was afraid because they can get big, but now I’ve seen them a few times and I’m thinking they are used to people. I’m still not getting close if I can help it. They are much bigger than you would expect.
I like seeing them but I feel bad that they are stuck in the city.
Deer aren’t edge cases. If you are in a rural community or the suburbs, deer are a daily way of life.
As more and more of their forests are destroyed, deer are a daily part of city life. I live in the middle of a large midwestern city; in neighborhood with houses crowded together. I see deer in my lawn regularly.
UnitedHealth had a massive ransomware attack in Feb and millions of people got their data leaked.
I’m so sick of the 5th Circuit. We need legislation to end judge shopping. Every damn article about some terrible decision seems to come out of the Fifth Circuit.
“We live in the United States of Texas, Louisiana & Mississippi.” —The American Prospect
This amount actually seems low.
If the survey is reflective of real world percentages. Women are close to half of all people. White men are 31% of the US population. Assuming some of them aren’t straight men or have disabilities, thats a pretty large possibilities of options that someone can fling hate at.
To be clear, straight white men can also experience hate. I don’t want to discredit them. It just seems to me that most of the hate is directed at other identity groups, so I’m using it to make a point.
Volkswagen Jetta. I think it was a 2012. Aside from having an oil leak that was common in that model, the gear shift computer broke, and most annoying of all, on the inside would just sort of fall off for no reason. I mean, the vent direction control tabs. And the only way to replace them was to remove the entire dash. Stupid and cheap design. I’ll probably never buy another Volkswagen.
Sony, WB, and Universal logic:
The people at that address probably use water to make meth. Cut off their water so they can’t make meth.
My dentist had to break apart a wisdom tooth and remove it in pieces. They also had to drill and fill cavities in nearby teeth.
They gave me a shots in that area to numb. They did a bit of testing before doing to work to make sure I was sufficiently numb. It didn’t hurt much, but there was some pinching that didn’t feel awesome.
The worst part for me was the pushing, pulling, and vibration of the tools in your mouth. It doesn’t feel natural and it made my skin crawl. I didn’t like the sound either. I recommend earbuds.
Afterwards, I had no pain at all. They gave me hydrocodone to take but I honestly didn’t even need ibuprofen. That isn’t the experience of most people, I’m told. I’m very lucky.
Aside from the headphones, my best tip is to visit a dentist that you feel comfortable with. Tell them up front, that you’re feeling anxious and any worries you have. A good dentist will do their best to explain the process clearly and do what they can to ease the pain.
I have direct experience with this.
In college, I got a job on campus in their Environment, Health, and Safety department. Mostly, I just calibrated fume hoods in labs.
During my time there, a hippo at a nearby zoo passed away. I don’t want to be too specific because it can be a bit icky, but they essentially shipped it to us for incineration.
