I don’t think that peasant economy was exploitative in the same way capitalism is. Peasants were largely farmers who grew food and provided the landowner with a percentage of their crop. They were integral to human survival and as far as I know the percentage taken by landowners was not comparable to the wealth extracted from workers today.

2. 2017 Forklift Incident- On September 6, 2017, Gregory Lee Leingang stole a forklift from a North Dakota oil refinery, with the intent of driving it into Trump’s presidential vehicle while he was en route to a rally. Leingang was stopped before reaching the motorcade after the vehicle got stuck in the refinery. Officials originally thought that Leingang had stolen the forklift for a much less serious reason, and only reevaluated the seriousness after he confessed to trying to kill the then-president by flipping the vehicle.

He cracked someone’s skull open with a hammer at their house for no reason. Someone like this needs to be isolated from the rest of society. I can’t believe you use this as an example to state that you don’t believe in prison as punishment. We should be able to operate humane prisons, but segregating violent offenders protects society.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6’4″ 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me.
