Rothfuss has unironically stated that he’s had trouble with the third book because he’s matured too much to write that shit again lol
I personally didn’t mind it in an unreliable narrator/mythic ballad kind of way but a lot of the problems it has is that it sure seems like it would require a literal interpretation to make the plot threads connect in the end.
