      Like fuck they are.

      As part of a plea agreement, the company has agreed to pay a maximum of $250,000 in fines to resolve a few months of pollution. It’s the first state penalty against the company despite nearly four years of violations flagged by DEQ.

        I’m not an “eye for an eye” guy (because truly, there’s no proportional punishment for environmental destruction), but anyone responsible for this should have to live there. Your other properties are forfeited and you now live on that river and drink that water - no municipal services for you. You made your bath, now drink it.
