Man here, I absolutely agree that women are too often labelled as “crazy”, but I don’t know what universal “truth” this post claims men are repressing.
Let’s not be obtuse now, we all know there is no mystical door, behind which men have sealed away The Truth. The point is that accusations of being crazy can be used as a one-size-fits-all deflection. And for some reason, it keeps working.
For example, women claim trump is on the epstein list, they claim the women are crazy, they’re diminished and not tsken seriously. A woman accuses her husband of cheating, he calls her crazy, gaslights her, and slanders her to back up his lies. I accuse my cat of talking in his sleep, he calls me crazy and goes back to bed. It never ends.
To be fair it does not say men, it says patriarchy, anybody of any gender can uphold the patriarchy. It does not have to be men.
Edit: Also, despite the phrasing it does not refer to a universal truth necessarily, just any truth of what is happening, what has happened etc.

Yep and someone chose to run the story in the news out of all the other potentials. Someone then chose the title and other people approved the publishing. When it was up a lemming chose to share it, leading to you seeing it
To be fair, knowing nothing but the headline, im on cat lady’s side.
Now is she a cat lady in the sense of a lady with an affinity for cats, or a Lady with some cat features, who would be called a catgirl were she of common birth? I need to know.
