Donald Trump has personally driven the controversial, taxpayer-funded video ads promoting himself and his administration’s policies, including helping select the imagery and videos used, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

Two Trump advisers familiar with the ads said that they were being created in-house by the White House video team — which is part of the communications team, responsible for the administration’s public messaging.

Coming just over a month before the November midterms, the ads have generated bipartisan criticism over how the Trump administration is spending taxpayer dollars.

Can confirm, I heard one of his disgusting propaganda ads on tv today, telling all kinds of lies about how well America is doing. Yeah, they’re airing in Canada too

    Which is highly illegal.

So, are any of you Americans on here going to do anything meaningful about it? The world is waiting for you to be this “land of the free and home of the brave” shit you love talking.

    …thought so.
    As you were.

    His policies?

What are they, besides disappearing people, killing solar and turbine projects, setting back fuel efficiency standards, bombing schoolgirls, ripping away healthcare, depriving children of nutrition, taxing the shit out of everyone that happens to buy anything, raising the prices of everything, raising inflation, insider trading, rampant corruption and self-dealing?

    controversial, taxpayer-funded video ads

Even after being banned from the press pool, cnn insists on calling something that is openly illegal ‘controversial’.

I often find myself thinking that, but i suspect the truth is more complicated. I’d guess the situation at cnn is more nuanced and piecemeal than just being straight up complicit.

I watch a show on CNN called Have I Got News For You, where comedians play games and discuss the week’s news. The people on that show are very openly anti-Trump. so, at least some of CNN’s programming is allowed to criticize and mock Trump. I expect the show to be canceled after Paramount takes over CNN.

“Controversial” is one of those terms that is so ridiculous. I am pretty sure The Professional Left spent most of a podcast talking about it and mocking it.

It’s weird how many years morons spent calling the Murc’s Law Media the “liberal media”.

Fuck, we won’t even have a corporate centrist media after all this corruption is over with.

Ah, yes. Instead of having my taxes go towards funding public sidewalks, this guy feels they would be better used on propaganda. Wonderful.

You know what really would help? Statues of him everywhere. and ginormous banners of his face… and parades… and I don’t know… having a national dish named after him. With mandatory consumption.

“Ma’am, I can’t give you that Big Mac yet. You haven’t finished your Trump slop. And don’t forget the prayer!”

Well, in my house, I “honor” him by saying “I have to go take a trump”. So we named one thing after him.

Now he’s just standing on the roof of the Whitehouse, dick out, pissing on the people below and screaming “Fuck You!!!” with a twisted grin on his face. He’s finally coming out in the open with his seething rage.
