The existence of Forky means almost certainly yes. Apparently, using any object for entertainment in some fashion makes it capable of becoming sapient. This creates a lot of potential fridge horror scenarios.

No. They don’t exist. The universe does not contain them. This is a wholesome story with a strong emphasis on the word story. A story can be whatever you want but the intention was probably not to create a universe in which toys are sentient unknown to their makes and in which they are tortured through rape. You can imagine that if you want but it is surely not the artists intent.

People often apply adult concepts to kids. Which is a huge mistake. Kids don’t view things the same, but many adults can’t understand that concept, so everything turns into in even though it isn’t meant that way.
