Cats need to be trained if you don’t want them to do something. Keep some spray bottles around and use them right when they do something you don’t want. Make sure to have clear rules on behaviour beforehand and that they are enforced by everyone in the household.
Usually some positive enforcement works as well
And show them, when you don’t like something, but a spray bottle is harsh
My 2 little ones are only allowed on some parts of the balcony (because they could fall down)
If they do stupid things, they just lose their balcony privilegesIf they do something stupid inside, they’ll get locked out of the room (usually 5mins is enough) and they’ll learn it after time
The best way to train cats is to get them to love you as well. They don’t want to be separated or you being sad/angry with them.

My group has 3 people with my name so some people just say our names to get all 3 of us to turn around in unison
I once knew EIGHT other people with the same first name as me. My dad, who I was sharing a place with, or fucking landlord, two coworkers, and 4 others spread across 3 friend groups. I could barley go anywhere without this problem, including occasionally just random places because some first names are just that common. And because it’s one of them biblical names, it crosses languages with minimal differences.
This is why you should be thinking of words that rhyme with the names of people nearby while having conversations.
